Fur So Fetch – Terms & Conditions

We want every pet to have a safe and happy grooming experience! Please take a moment to read through our important salon policies:

1. Vaccinations & Worming

It’s your responsibility to ensure your pet is up to date with vaccinations and worming. We recommend puppies have their C5 vaccination at least 10 days before attending the salon.

2. Matting

Removing matted fur can uncover hidden skin issues like sores or hot spots. It may also cause irritation or minor injuries, even with great care. Extra charges apply depending on severity. Fur So Fetch is not liable for any issues resulting from matting removal.

3. Curly-Coated Breeds Policy

All curly-coated dogs (e.g., Poodles, Cavoodles, Labradoodles, etc.) must be on a regular grooming schedule of no more than 8 weeks between appointments. This is to maintain coat health and avoid matting.

We cannot accept appointments if you are unable to commit to this schedule.

4. No-Shows & Late Cancellations

Cancellations/reschedules within 24 hours will be charged 50% of the grooming fee.

Same-day cancellations or no-shows will incur 100% of the fee.

No further appointments will be booked until payment is received.

5. Late Drop-Off or Pick-Up

Pets must arrive on time for their appointment.

A $15 late drop-off fee will apply if you arrive after your scheduled time. If you are more than 30 minutes late, we reserve the right to refuse the appointment.

Your pet must be picked up within 1 hour of completion.

We will send you a text once your pet is ready. A $10 daycare fee will automatically apply if your pet remains with us longer than 1 hour after completion.

We close at 4:00 PM.

Late pickups will incur a fee of $1 per minute after closing time, unless we are running behind schedule.

6. Pet Health & Safety

Please inform us if your pet:

Has any medical condition or injury

Is recovering from surgery

Is under sedation (we cannot groom sedated pets)

We reserve the right to refuse or stop service if it’s unsafe for your pet.

7. Animal Safety

Our open salon encourages play and socializing. If you prefer your pet be kept separate, just let us know. For their safety and others’, pets may be crated, tethered, or separated as needed. Aggressive pets may be muzzled or sent home, and additional fees may apply for difficult or aggressive behaviour.

8. Emergency Care

In the rare case of an emergency, we may seek vet care at the closest facility if we cannot reach you. We’ll always try to contact you first.

9. Photography

We may take photos or videos of your pet during their visit for use in our grooming services or marketing. By attending, you consent to this.

10. Consent

By booking with us, you confirm you are the owner (or authorised guardian) of the pet and agree to all terms and conditions.
